A grey start on November made it too tempting not to improve the colours a little…

This is the real thing

Fog, before the lake freezes up

Better in the evening

And even better a few days later, with more proper wintery conditions

And the birds started to come for food

And finally, last of November, first of December the lake froze ..

and after two days the lake had got its winter habit
