A quiet morning at Applecross ..

We stopped at Applecross smokehouse – bought wonderful trout, salmon and smoked cheese!

The most remote shop we visited this summer!

We drove passed Isle of Ewe – another of the islands of Fridtjof Kalexas Isle of Arran’s siblings

A wonderful scenic drive along the coast (get used to the “passing place” – you’ll need it!)

We did not get as far as we had planned due to a fatal traffic accident. We had to turn and go back to wait for the road to open, and found this midges infected but beautiful camping site
