Lake district, Hawkshead

Our car is back!

Aiming for Lake Windermere, we found the place absolutely packed with tourists, so we continued and found by a coincidence this quiet camping site – Hawkshead Hall

First time we put up the tent this year, and also the new brilliant awning – Fridtjof adjusting fine to the overlander lifestyle

A short walk from the camp we found Hawkshead – “the prettiest little village in the Lake District” (we don’t disagree with that!)

The charming village tempted us to local beer and cheese as well as a brilliant pub meal for dinner

A quiet morning in the camp
